Romania-Ukraine- Moldova 2007-2013
Common operational programme Romania-Ukraine- Moldova – is one of the new financing instruments of EU European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument that will be realized on external borders of EU during 2007- 2013.
The ultimate goal of the programme – creation of 'connections' between these three countries for helping cross-border regions in solving common problems for cooperation development and search for common solutions. From now on, borders will unite cross-border regions, not separate them.
Operational programme provides support for people that live in cross-border territories for development of cross-border territory economy, countering ecological problems and increasing their readiness for emergency situations. Programme will also contribute for cooperation between people and communities that live on cross-border territories.
Programme budget on the seven year period consists of 126 718 000 EUR.
Regions that are covered by the programme:

Following counties in Romania: Suchava, Botoshani, Yasi, Vaslu, Galati, Tulcha;

Ukraine: Odessa and Chernivetska regions;

Republic of Moldova: whole country;

additional regions (in Romania: Braila county; in Ukraine: Ivano-Frankivsk and Vinnitsa regions; also 10 districts: Vinkovetsky, Chemerovetsky, Khmelnitsky, Kamyanets-Podilsky, Letichivsky, Dunayevetsky, Dzerzinsky, Novoushitsky, Yarmolinetsky, Gorodetsky in Khmelnitsky region and 20 districts in Ternopilsky, Berezansky, Pidgaytsivsky, Terebovlyansky, Monastirsky, Gustyansky, Chortkivetsky, Borschivsky, Zalishitsky and Butchatsky in Ternopil region).
Additional regions will have access to all benefits of the programme , however on this territories only 'soft' projects can be developed and implemented. All above-mentioned territories called 'Selected regions' – this means that only projects that are developed in this regions can be funded by Work programme.
